Car
Arght the other day i was parked and pulled it into neutrul and when i went to put it back into gear it wouldnt. So i shut the car off and put it in gear. Then it was be able to move. When its in gear it moves front to back like my shift linkage poped off or something. As long as im moving i can shift but its not the easiest think and downshifts are damn near impossible. I have to use two hands to jus down shift. I was thinking slave cylinder but im not really sure can someone else tell me what they think it is.

It may be your shift fork and throw out bearing. They seem to wear out at 40,000 miles and continue to get worse or even become bent from forcing the shift. This causes problems with your synchronizer wich makes it hard for the gears to line up for a smooth shift.
I just bought one, and a tob bearing, going to replace these when I get a new clutch. |
